Creating Custom Letterhead

Click on the Documents Tab and create a new image folder (if you don't already have a place for images)

Click "Create New Folder". Name the folder and leave settings as, "Folder Accessible by all..." Click Save

Add new image to the folder. This will be your letterhead image for your outbound emails

Click the BROWSE button and find your image to upload. Give the image a name, description and you can even include keywords for searching later on. Also, make sure you CHECK, "Externally Available Image". If not, your logo will not be viewed to anyone.

Click Save. You know you have successfully uploaded an image if you can view it within salesforce.com.

Next, Click on Setup > Administration Setup > Communication Templates > Letterheads

You will be prompted with some Letterhead Image Information. Click Next

Click New Letterhead

Make sure you click the box for, "Enable for Use". Give the letterhead a name to identify later when you create your email template and a description

Next, Control the letterhead with the buttons

To upload your logo, click on the "Select Logo" Button at the top of the Letterhead Editor. Navigate to the new folder you created in the Documents Tab and select your Logo

As soon as the logo is selected, it will appear in the letterhead screen

When you have your letterhead formatted to your satisfaction, Click Save.

Your letterhead is now complete
