There is now integration for Macs with Contacts and
email, similar to the Outlook integration. A new
AppExchange application
called Maildrop will support both Mac Mail and
Entourage. Optimal browser is Firefox, as Safari is
prone to Java errors, and does not support many of the
features Firefox will. No plan by Apple to upgrade
Safari to be compliant with sfdc’s requirements.
Maildrop will: –Create
a new case from an email –Create
an Email Activity from an email, search for who & what
the email is related to (Entourage only) –Create
new contacts if needed (Entourage only) –Store
passwords in
keychain –Support
Apple's Mail and Microsoft's Entourage
